large figures surcharged 1.50mm on 2nd printing 1/2c on 3 cands, and small figures surcharged 8c on 6c, tied by 'SHANGHAI'
Dollar chop, adjacent overprinted 'Chine' on French Peace and Commerce 25c, tied by 'SHANG-HAI' Fr. P.O cds, on reverse with
'HONG.KONG/3.8.97' and 'LONDON' arrival cancel. 9 cents was the normal postal rate applied to the overseas, this cover was only
