illustration in light blue on bottom left, sent to a famous
Chinese collector

1949 "Liberation, Temporarily Used For" handstamped
in red on Kwangtung Silver Yuan Surch. on Dr. Sun Yat-
Sen issue, 2-1/2c on $500 mauve (Recess), two blocks
of 4, both with chopw of four types A, B, C & D, one
block with the 2nd stamp bearing "1" shifted to right and
3rd stamp bearing slanting "--" varieties, and one block
with the small "2" of the 1st stamp broken at top, and the
2nd stamp with a bent "--" varieties, unused, no gum as
issued, very scarce in multiple, very fine. (Yang SC12
